Frequently Asked Questions About Mobile Dog Grooming
The length of a grooming appointment depends on your dog’s breed, size, coat condition, temperament, and the services being performed. Most mobile dog grooming appointments take between 1 and 2 hours. Because your dog receives one-on-one attention with Ears, Nails & Puppy Dog Tails, appointments are typically completed more efficiently than at a traditional grooming salon.
Pricing varies based on your dog’s breed, size, coat type, temperament, and the amount of time required to complete the groom. We are happy to provide an estimate before your appointment. Contact us to discuss your dog’s specific grooming needs.

No. Our mobile dog grooming van is fully self-contained and equipped with its own water and power supply. In rare situations, additional water may be needed depending on the number of dogs groomed that day, but this is uncommon.

We typically need space equivalent to about two car lengths to park the grooming van. We can park in your driveway or on the street, provided there is sufficient room and safe access to your dog.
Mobile dog grooming offers a calmer, quieter, and less stressful experience for many dogs. Because grooming is performed one-on-one, your dog receives personalized attention without the noise, crowds, or cages often found in traditional grooming salons. Mobile grooming is also convenient for busy pet owners since there is no need to drive to and from a grooming facility.
We require owners to be present for the first appointment so we can meet you and your dog, discuss grooming preferences, and answer any questions. After the initial visit, you do not need to be home as long as we have a safe and approved way to access your dog, such as a garage code, key, or other arrangement.

Most dogs benefit from professional grooming every 4 to 8 weeks. Dogs that maintain longer hairstyles typically require grooming every 4 weeks to prevent matting and keep their coat healthy. Dogs with shorter haircuts can often be groomed every 6 to 8 weeks.
Regular brushing and combing help keep your dog’s coat healthy and mat-free between appointments. Dogs with longer coats should be brushed or combed at least 3 to 4 times per week. Dogs with shorter coats generally benefit from brushing 1 to 2 times per week.
